December 2010 Meeting: The Art of Storytelling

Please join us in welcoming John Sadowksy - storytelling, leadership and marketing ‘guru’ who will speak with us about:
Email, Social Marketing and the Art of Storytelling
John will help us discover the power of storytelling and the effective use of storytelling in email, how to tell stories that “catch” your audience and thus incite them to share with their friends via social networking sites.
Specific topics include:
- Learning to use our stories of identity in email, and in marketing in general
- How to use links between email and social marketing to spread our stories
- Why user generated content is so powerful, and how to encourage it
- Using email to build user communities
Finally, you will discover the importance of stories in your personal and professional life.
This conference is grounded on his book (in French): Les 7 règles du storytelling and and the forthcoming book (in English): “Email, social marketing, and the art of storytelling”. He is also co author of “Eloge du bien être au travail.”
John Sadowsky has over 20 years experience working on 5 continents. His roles have included entrepreneur, CEO, professor, consultant, and leadership coach. John holds an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and a doctorate in Business Administration from Newcastle University. Currently Distinguished Professor of Leadership at the Grenoble Graduate School of Business in France, John also lectures in marketing and intercultural management. He is a frequent speaker at corporate and industry events in Europe, North America, and South America, and a visiting lecturer at some of the world’s leading educational institutions, including the Institut d’Etudes Politiques (Sciences-Po) in Paris, the Stanford Graduate School of Business in California, the National Academy of Economics in Moscow, and the Universidad Católica in Buenos Aires.
